Do You Love What You Do? (Your Work? Or Your Job?)

That answer may make all the difference!

I am graduated in Architecture for 31 years, but fifteen years ago, I made the decision to dedicate my work to what I like the most.

I love to Plan houses, all styles and sizes. The point is to have the opportunity to create something new, the challenge of noticing what is important for the future user, figure out solutions to optimize space, from the architectural plan until the last detail of landscape and interior design, a complete work.

Because, that’s how I start the planning, imagining the house ready to live. The house as a unique job, and that’s what the Architect do, a complete work. I think this makes the difference in my life, in the client life, and on the final work quality.

I wouldn’t change that for a job, even with a higher income, if I could lose this feeling, the excitement of accomplish every step of the way, to overcome the difficulties and finally conclude all work as planned.

I see people acting like they are too worried about a good salary, but forget the healthy life quality you can have if you do what you love, the pleasure of concluding something important to you, no matter what kind of work. This way of thinking will influence everybody involved and will provide a good energy on the process, the result will be fantastic.
